In a significant move to strengthen youth employability, Skill India has announced seven free online internship programs for students across India. The initiative, launched under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, aims to equip learners with industry-relevant, job-ready skills at no cost.
Open to students who have completed Class 10, Class 12, graduation, or post-graduation, these internships run for 1 to 3 months and are conducted entirely online, making them accessible to learners nationwide.
The programs cover some of today’s fastest-growing domains, including data science, SAP, digital marketing, business analytics, finance, HR, and foreign languages, offering students hands-on exposure and practical learning.

- Data Science with Python – Learn Python-based data analysis, visualisation, and work on real-world projects.
- Business Analytics with R – Gain skills in R programming, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Digital Marketing PRO Apprenticeship – Explore SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and live campaigns.
- Financial Reporting Internship – Learn financial statement preparation and understand GAAP and IFRS standards.
- HR Business Partner Internship – Understand workforce planning, talent management, and HR strategy.
- SAP MM Expert Internship – Get hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Korean Vocabulary Enrichment Internship – Build Korean language skills along with cultural understanding.
